The RTC officially endorsed seven candidates for the upcoming State and Federal elections at their July 14th meeting. All seven candidates were unanimously endorsed and are as follows:

Tony Guglielmo for State Senate - 35th District

In response to his endorsement by the Coventry RTC, Sen. Guglielmo provided the following message:

"I would like to thank the Coventry RTC for your endorsement and continued support. This is one of the most important elections in decades and voters need to support fiscally responsible candidates."

Tim Ackert for State House - 8th District

Mark Boughton for Lieutenant Governor

Jerry Farrell, Jr. for Secretary of State

Jeff Wright for Treasurer

Mr. Wright responded to his endorsement by stating:

"...[T]hank you...I am honored to have the endorsement of the Coventry RTC and if I am elected State Treasurer, I will fight to secure Connecticut's financial Foundation as Connecticut's Cash Cop."

Jack Orchulli for Comptroller

In his response to the Coventry RTC regarding their endorsement, Jack Orchulli remarked:

"I am very pleased to receive your endorsement for my candidacy.  As the State's Chief Financial Officer and taxpayers' advocate, I will bring financial sanity to our budget process by examining all expenses and programs and I will present the unvarnished facts to our citizens.  My successful business experience (where I balanced budgets, created jobs, and got things done) will help make a real difference in Hartford."

Cheryl Brown for Probate Judge - District 25

Doug Dubitsky for U.S. House - District 2
